Grid House, nestled in the bustling city of Coimbatore, is a charming two story home encompassing 1480 square feet, meticulously designed for Mr. Felix Raj. This well appointed residence features three spacious bedrooms, each with its own attached bathroom, ensuring the utmost privacy and comfort for its occupants. The architectural design focuses on creating a cozy yet highly practical living space that perfectly caters to the needs of its residents. Despite being built on a small plot, the house maximizes its space with a compact, boxy structure. A distinctive feature of the home is one part of the façade that showcases a modern cement texture combined with sleek steel work, adding an industrial yet stylish touch to the overall design. Warm wooden vertical screens introduce a natural element to the predominantly contemporary façade, while large glass openings bring in daylight and create visual connections between the interiors and the street. The carefully composed façade balances privacy, openness, and functionality, making the residence well suited to its dense urban surroundings.

Grid House is a study in simplicity, proportion, and purposeful design. Its structured form and carefully arranged façade create a strong architectural identity while making the most of a compact urban site. The interplay of textured concrete, steel, timber screens, and expansive glass adds depth and warmth to the otherwise clean geometry. More than simply responding to the limitations of its plot, Grid House turns them into an opportunity, creating a home that is efficient, contemporary, private, and connected to its surroundings. Every element is composed with intent, resulting in a residence where form and function come together naturally.
