Nestled in the serene landscapes of Palakkad, this 2,605 sq. ft. tropical contemporary residence for Mrs. Akshaya seamlessly blends traditional elements with modern design principles. The home's façade features intricate jali work—ornamental perforated screens that not only add aesthetic appeal but also facilitate natural ventilation and light diffusion, enhancing the indoor environment.

 

Complementing the jali are sections of exposed brick cladding, introducing a rustic charm that pays homage to traditional Indian architecture. The use of cement textures on exterior walls adds a modern, industrial touch, creating a balanced interplay between the old and the new.
